BFHA offers a number of publications that include Berkshire Family Historian, our Member newsletter, BFHA’s out-of-print Berkshire Genealogist quarterly, prepared indexes, and a growing list of special genealogical research materials.

Some publications are available for purchase as an exclusive benefit to BFHA Members.

Berkshire Genealogist

Berkshire Genealogist is the out-of-print quarterly publication previously sent to Berkshire Family History Association Members. A compilation of censuses, indices, reports, cemetery and church records, etc. relating to persons and places of Massachusetts and its neighboring states of New York, Vermont, and Connecticut, the Genealogist was published four times a year.

Indexes

BFHA has created indexes for a number of publications and research materials available at the Local History & Genealogy Department at Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield’s Public Library. While many indexes are available at the Athenaeum, BFHA offers digital downloads for purchase to some of the more widely-used materials.
